- YEE YEE!!! A little while back, I made a video called "The Country Boys of TikTok", and it was a lot of fun to make, and I was just truly fascinated by country folk. So, obviously, I had to make a "Country Girls of Tik Tok" video...it's only fair. So, put your boots on, and get ready for a bunch of yee-yees and yee-haws.

He is so pleased with himself so often and it is next level wholesome

The preciousest
so precious
Probably my biggest problem with Country culture is how they obsess over gas-guzzling trucks and driving them aggressively. It's so bad
As a person who is originally from Texas, the truck culture is very cringe.
As a person from Texas I can confirm we say “yee yee” after every sentence. Yee yee! And we also drive our trucks in our freaking backyards. Yee yee!
Yee yee
Yee Yee fellow Texan
@should prob be sleeping I say y’all all the time, and that’s about it. I don’t say yee haw or yee yee I was just going with the joke. I also hate southern stereotypes
i hate these stereotypes cause not all southern people say yee yee and y’all and yeehaw. yee yee
yup!
Still waiting for my 'country nonbinary people' video, Kurtis. I am a country nonbinary person, Kurtis. I will revolt, Kurtis. Kurtistown will be turned to ashes. give the people(me) what they want, Kurtis.
All here y’all straight(well not straight lol 🏳️🌈) from the south and nb
Country enbies will raise and revolt until our mayor gives us what we want
Shooooot y’all just gotta make ya some TikTawks
@lex County enbys rise!!
we’ll revolt together
Honestly the more I watch Kurtis the more I realize he really is just like THE most accepting and unproblematic youtuber
In my opinion ig, here’s some *TRUE* unproblematic youtubers. (Who are also legends. Nostalgically.)
Kurtis Conner
Coryxkenshin
Jacksepticeye
Markiplier
Pewdiepie
…Stampycat
DanTDM

Anyways, and ect. Of more nostalgia.
Yw :))
What about the time he forgot the extra greeting in the beginning of the video? I can never forgive him for that.
*yeetuber
That aged like milk my guy-
@Grant Beck this aged like milk
i grew up in mississippi, and spent lots of time in louisiana. there’s this thing called southern bell, and it’s basically i bunch of country girls that have to compete in a pageant to show who’s the most countryist
Yeah and the funny part is at least half of them have never done anything remotely country other than dressed the part
I missed this growing up in Mississippi, but I was busy having to help on the farm wearing Depeche Mode shirts and bondage pants from hot topic. Haha
i always wanted to be a southern belle but i don’t like ride horses and crap
Country girls are the epitome of pick-me girls
They are I swear and this is coming from someone who is originally from Texas
Oh my fucking GOD are they! I've lost count of how many country girls I've seen who do basically do the whole "I'm not like OTHER girls!"
okay but braiding a horses's tail is actually really hard so that video impressed me lmao
I love that kurtis' idea of the southern equivalent of a coffee shop is an empty cornfield
Kurtis is the definition of the words “dude” “bro” “man”. And I mean this in the best way possible.
Is that Ibuki form danganronpa in your pfp?
Ibuki miodA
@death lol true
That already is the best way possible though
danganronpa fans found their way here and I am danganronpa fans
I LAUGHED SO DAMN HARD I didn’t realize how yee yee my town was until this 😂😂
Kurtis is the definition of genuine class. You're absolutely respectful, aware and inclusionary to all people all while being funny as fuck. I'm really glad I randomly stumbled upon your content this morning
as a person who grew up in the south i can confirm that this is *exactly* how people behave in the south
Thanks Kurtis for activating my dad‘s 90 minute lecture on boot etiquette
equality is kurtis laughing at every country person equally, regardless of gender
Respect for Kurtis in knowing that women are actually funny.
@kent And to not slander others as well.
This was my favorite joke
@Jojoforpres ratio
@Jojoforpres ratio
Two Yee-years later and this video still hits harder than that truck hit me in '08
can we all agree that kurtis is looking IMMACULATE in this video
Saddle up Shawdy clearly shows horses Western style and I can respect that because Western horse show standards are intense. Her show outfit alone probably cost an arm and a leg.
kurtis just letting you know your hair looks respectfully handsome in this video and your puns were awful. good work
I’m from Alabama, and I’m proud to say that Country-rap is the worst genre to ever be invented and no one can change my mind.
Pause, there’s county rap???…
Someone I used to be friends with showed me broadchurch….i just that’s gonna be knowledge in my brain forever I’ll never be able to get that outta there
you’re a bamba jamma from alabama?
@Kaylie Anne Swihart niio
@fr4n i feel bad for u too
6:32 get those cornfield crawlers out of the frame 😟
I am surrounded by “country girls” down here and as the only metal head in my high school and community college, I continuously stick out here.
"I dont want this video to just be a white man making fun of girls for no reason, tehere's way too much of that on the internet already and I don't want to contribute to that" I can't even describe how grateful I am for this. Thank you.
Is it bad if I find saying "you're the sexiest tree I've never seen" in a song about camo girls actually really funny? Like I think it's not a compliment, it's a playful diss
Why's he look like a chill drug dealer that's actually really funny and friendly
Fez?
Fezco
Like Stanley Barber from IANOWT
cause he is
He looks like his name is Jimmy for some reason
This makes me laugh so hard 😂. I live in Texas, but I grew up in Chicago. My boyfriend grew up in the outskirts of Corpus and his family owns a 600 acre ranch. So yes, he would be considered “country”. He doesn’t talk like that, dress like that, but does wear snapbacks and likes to talk about how country he is 😂. He does all the things you’d do growing up in the country, fishing, hunting, etc. my family is from the Midwest so I loved doing all those things on our camping trips growing up. But to him that was his every day as a child. I think basically “country culture” comes from people that grew up completely immersed in that every day lifestyle and doesn’t understand the life outside of it. So they kind of convince themselves it’s the only way to live. That’s what’s nice about Texas, it’s extremely populous, and full of all different cultures, that you see a balance in that lifestyle and it’s not as toxic as it is in places like Arkansas and Bama. My boyfriend and I met in high school when we lived in the Houston area and after high school moved up to Austin. So it’s just funny seeing stuff like this, and realizing it’s not just in the south, there’s country folk in almost every state of middle America. You’d be surprised in the culture divide just within one state.
Oh yeah, your point about country people being everywhere is true. I live in California and my southern relatives are always talking shit about all the urban liberal Californians. But a huge chunk of the state is just forest or desert or smth, there are country people here for sure.
Unrelated but after seeing the "Pronouncing every State incorrectly video" that Chaz Smith did I can't read Arkansas normally anymore.
Country fan: I'm more country
All other country fans: Hold my sister
as a person who lives in rural tx, i can confirm that every country person stereotype is 100% true
"She's the sexiest tree I've ever seen"
Wood Man is rolling in his grave dude
I have no idea why he's in a grave
I have nothing to do with this
I am innocent
I love how everybody hates camo jokes but we have to make them every time.
i accidentally subscribed to you
I didn’t see a camo joke?
It's close to fart jokes
@kiraPh1234k · AhhhhhhHHHHHHH-
I thought I was ready - I WAS NOT!
It’s the law
There’s the three genders we’ve learned from Kurtis’ country videos:
Boys, girls, and memes
I'm from the South and i can confirm that rhyming Alabama with anything but mama jama is illegal here
I did not stop laughing this whole video. And the excitement and joy you had after dip syncing was adorable
So I've changed alot from when I was 18 listening to this stuff. I got married and soon divorced at 18. I wore cowboy boots to my wedding. I felt like I couldn't wear heels properly but was too afraid to wear flats because of my toxic mothers comments. So glad to be able to redo on my next wedding 😬😂
My mom is from the city, and my dad is from the countryside. So I'm half yee yee and half eww a bug
I went from the country to a city and city bugs are just sketchier. Be kind to your dad
It’s been two years since this was commented, I can’t get myself to care when it’s so fucking funny.
Cities are full of bugs wym 😂 or maybe just the dirtier ones
I’ve grew up (and still live) in the countryside, but I’m always like “eww a bug” lol 😭😂
@Pluto yeyew a bug
As a person who works on a horse ranch and loves beer, I found this extremely funny 😂
kurtboy being inclusive by making fun of all country people regardless of gender 😇😇
I live in the countryside and you described it perfectly lol I see these kinds of things people do around me and watching you just go over it made me laugh so hard!
It's amusing watching a Canadian insulting my whole state 😂
Being a southern person myself I can legitimately confirm that several people I know listen to those weird ass country songs in their free time.
It was playing in the boujie car dealership the other day
i live on 8 acres in the south and ive never even gone through ten minutes of listening to country music. willingly at least
I live in southern Ohio and go to a school in Kentucky, I con confirm it sucks because everyone is either faking being bisexual or hates gays.
I read your comment in a southern accent (including your username lmao)
I walked into a Starbucks yesterday and I ended up in a cornfield with a Frappuccino
omfg i love this, i grew up in the south but i wouldn’t consider myself country but my family definitely is. i was ugly laughing at every second of this 😂😂
Your jokes are so good that you have to apologize how good they are.
As someone from Louisiana, who has lived a majority of her life in Texas, I see this shit on the daily. And yes, people absolutely get married in their boots.
I basically grew up working on a farm and seeing cringey shit like this on tik tok makes me ashamed of that. If that’s what people think “country” is, i don’t want them associating that with me.
I swear to god, every single country singer sounds literally the exact same way
@Mark Baker Meryl Haggerd is good I just didn’t want to write a huge reply so I kept it short
@River Manuel townes van zant, merle haggard. What about all the old union music back from when a lot of hillbillies were socialist coal miners
That’s cause it ain’t good country. If you go back to the classics, Ie. Johnny Cash, Alan Jackson, George Jones etc. you can tell the difference and it’s actually pretty good. I only listen to the classics cause it’s better
TRUE so do rappers 😭😭
@Cash Nelson as someone from Kentucky, where I constantly hear country, just no. Older country is different but every singer now sounds the same in country. It happens in pop too, I know that.
I love ya. I’m from Alabama, and this is so damn hilarious! Please do more of this content. I haven’t laughed this much in so long..OMG! I live this life everyday, and this….lol….this is so ridiculous!
I have never cried laughing at a country tik tok video as hard as I have just laughed at your rendition of international harvester. Amazing
I’m non-binary and my whole family is country and I’m still scared
What I really appreciate is that Kurtis makes more fun of the songs than any of the people in the tiktoks
"She's the sexiest tree I've ever seen"
Chris Pine: am I a joke to you
Pokemon professors: “am I a joke to you?”
@LadySensei This joke is really niche, but omg
Yes
i read that as a sexist tree
Daphne: am I a joke to you
yesterday i was walking around my uni and i saw these bottle blonde girls with the darkest fake tan I have seen in my life and they were yelling yee yee and I have never felt more fear
i'm about 6 minutes in this video so far, and i love how you're making fun of the songs and not the girls themselves. you are a legend
I like how Kurtis in the beginning of his video acknowledges the sexism issues going on through the internet instead of just skipping past that. Most male male PLcliprs I know if they were going to make fun of a certain type of girl they would not acknowledge that.
As someone who has been to a shit ton of cowboy weddings, yes, wedding boots are a thing. Also in my experience- all the men wear there cowboy hats and they are always held at a barn. Bonus, one wedding I went to had the bride and groom drink a beer after there vows. The groom ended up spilling his on his suit too, so that was nice.
As a southerner, I can confirm that we don’t have coffee shops. We only have empty corn fields to spend our time in.
( based on Alabama yeehaw ) We also have eight dollar generals and twenty seven churches in one town, dont forget that part. Also mexican restaurants! We really like our mexican food
( i have also never been to a coffee shop that exists in alabama )
@Inspiration, Move me Brightly What's a Piggly Wiggly
and saloons with the wooden swingy half doors, of course.
Don't you have at least have saloons
Yup
BRO THE NAME GRANT IS SO ACCURATE 😭😭. I knew someone who was dating a country boy named Grant who would ask and do that
As a person who has heard country music before; I can hear by say- on the behalf on every country person- my life is defined by the two words, *yee YEE*
Kurtis roasted the crap out of my culture and I loved it
I'm a country girl and I'm honestly not even offended by this, this was hilarious! 😂
Kurtis literally cannot resist making an invisible camo joke every time he sees camo anywhere
but-you can't see camo???
He doesn't see it
The X Files music cue makes it perfect.
it’s a 90’s kid thing 🤪
It's a rare disorder
I’ve watched this video so many times, I can’t help but sing along to these songs now. Dang it.
Bro when I tell you i died when Kurtis did the country remixes I fricken died
watching this as someone who lives in the south, loves country music, owns a 250 dollar cowboy hat, camouflage cowboy boots with an American flag on them, own chickens, knows how to skin a buck, and wears bell bottoms. this is hilarious lmao, keep it up Kurtis. ur actually one of the funniest guys ik
I live in south texas, and personally get a lot of discrimination from people like this, but honestly.. this is painfully accurate. Specifically the trucks in the back yard part :)
“Who listens to this?” My bus driver at 5 in the morning on full volume
YES SAME WITH MINE. he wears a cowboy hat and keeps in in his bus too so we call him farmer/cowboy bob lmfao
😭
My whole childhood through school....and I hate country music
OMG MY BUS DRIVER BLASTS COUNTRY MUSIC THE HALF HOUR THERE AND THE HALF HOUR BACK
Lmao this brought back so many memories
Im from the Canadian country side and this video is approved by me x) I had a good moment watching it, made me think back of my hometown, wish to see some more in the future in fact !
Kurtis: _”Lets say it together. 1… 2… 3…”_
Me: *”SKIN A BUCK!”*
Kurtis: *”YEE YEE!”*
Me: _”Oh, yee. That too…”_
“Country Y’all’s” is the accepted inclusive term
"I love country boys so much."
-Kurtis Conner, 2018
kurtis giggling after the “dip syncing” joke temporarily cured my depression
@Chugerofgravy the hell? 😂
Ew you have depression
Awww yes this is exactly why I moved to Kurtistown and I’m never going back can I get a YEE YEE
Add public reply...
Scrolled for ages to find this comment again; it always brightens my day, because it’s so true!
As someone born and raised in the south, yeah. I went to school around those people. Bedazzled bluejeans and bedazzled cowgirl boots haunted me. Also yes we have coffee shops in America Kurtis. -laugh-
I really like how Kurtis makes videos me manages to make fun of content without making fun of the people
As a West Virginian I agree with everything stated in this video
@Psychonaut I totally agree with you on this, but there is also a large percentage of people here who call themselves "country." Appalachian and country are definitely different things, but there is also some overlap (not to mention people who aren't technically Appalachian who live here and consider themselves to be country)
West Virginia is more Appalachian than Southern. They're similar but not the exact same.
Kurtis, I'm gonna get a YeeYee shirt from you to learn to rope cattle in lol. Im an anarchist rodeo junky, not country, but I think everyone could learn to appreciate the chaos of the country lifestyle every now and then. 😝
If there was a country song that rhymed “Alabama” with “big banana” I would put on a ten gallon hat for a week
…✍️
@Luna& /. I died laughing
That doesn’t rhyme tho
@Luna& /. mmm
I was expecting someone to comment this 🤣🤣
I thoroughly enjoyed watching Kurtis try to comprehend southern culture. But yeah. It's basically beer, hats, trucks, and backyards all at the same time. Good job. :)
kurtis. I can't handle this anymore. you need to stop being my favorite person ever.
I’ve just discovered this person, he’s so funny that I actually spit out some of my drink. I can’t even.
Thumbs way up for Kurtis' extra greeting! 😊
We are definitely done...lmao country music is now all auto-tune like other music. Being original and authentic means something else in entertainment today. Especially the music industry. Taken over.
The bf list is creepy considering the cute stuffed animal lol 🤣 I wish I knew how to skin one just because I like to be prepared I'm case I'd ever need to. Lmao
Horse butt; yee yee! 🐴 : NaaAaAy
🤣
"Do people get married in boots?"
*Laughs in Texan*
Too often.
literally
@Mint Velvet The idea of a person from Michigan acting southern and toting a confederate flag makes me laugh so hard, maybe an identity crisis lol
I'd just like to add, also Texan and besides the weddings and Proms as many have mentioned. All my doctors recently have worn boots with their scrubs.
@Molly Hill i don’t know how, but I think it’s more common in Michigan that texas
I legit laugh out loud every once in a while thinking of Kurtis saying, "Get with the D E E R S K I N N E R." Lmaoooooooooo.
I've watched all of these country vids, as a person who lives in a town that is definitely mostly country(i literally know 2 ppl who arent country. Me and a friend of mine) I can say these are 100% accurate, and I've had Country song by Bo Burnham stuck in my head throughout all of them
edit: also yes, on one of the vids, country Boys do shoot lasers out of their eyes
11:04 is a song called International Harvester. My brother (a lawyer) listened to it and enjoyed it and passed that enjoyment on to me, a PhD English literature candidate. Neither of us have ever worked on a farm a day in our lives. Yet we both enjoyed that song unironically.
Oh my god... listening to this music makes me so sad because it reminds me of my dad. I lost him to mental illness but this music brings me memories of sitting in the car with him and listening to country music. I always told him I hated it but when I listen to it now it makes me feel so nostalgic... It reminds me of how I still love him even if he hurt me more than anyone else.
“Skinning a buck” sounds like an awful euphemism for circumcision
@Retro Beast um this person said it "sounds like an awfu euphemism" meaning they didn't actually think that's what It meant.
how do i delete someone else’s commen
how to delete someone else’s comment
God NO
Tilda's Whack Art r/whooooosh
I know I’m late but wow I have never laughed so hard while simultaneously being genuinely embarrassed about where I live.
I’m from New York and my husband is the definition of a Southern country boy. This video killed me
I’ve never laughed out loud harder than at your videos
None of these girls did, but ALL of these girls look like they went to my high school
Kurtis: "I don't tuck my jeans into my boots." Kurtis, in 2020 making a video in country clothing: "Do the jeans go inside or outside the boots? They're too tight. *tucks into boots*"
@IDontKnowWhoIAm I don't wear boots I'm just saying it's funny that he changed his tune from video to video lol
You never gone hunting then you gotta tuck them in to keep the ticks out when you're in the woods
Kurtis is not country after all
@MelanieRose :/
@the-starlit-blade Lmaoooo
my favourite part about that "Who writes these songs?" bit is that they genuinely stole the first line of the song from South Park.
4:23 that was one the cutest laughs from Curtis, how he clasped his hands while he laughed, so precious.
The more i watch kurtis the more i feel the need to prepare for a camoflauge joke at any second
As a southerner, can confirm ppl like this make "being country" 100% of their personality & are some of the worst people you'll ever meet
As a non american, country people in the US are one of the most bizarre social hierarchies ive ever come across, im lowkey fascinated at how it all works and why certain things are viewed as appealing/attractive
As an American, I full heartedly agree.
That’s… how cultures work. I agree it’s sorta weird but it’s just how it is.
i really cant relate to any of the 'country' stuff people are talking about in the comments,maybe because im from dallas.its not rural at all so all of this is still foreign to me.
@Rosette Nyla me too
I love kurtis and his videos, but god damn imagine thinking hunting was something sick. Something that’s proven to be better for the environment, more sustainable, and just better for every step of the meat eating process. It’s such a shallow mindset to think it’s just this evil thing that hicks do
13:37 i ligit thought she was a tree here for a second, no joke
prey behavior
If anyone wants to know the lyrics for 11:02, I'm from Texas I can translate:
I'm a God-Fearin', hard workin', *unintelligible* driver
Hoggin' up the road with my p-p-p-plower
Chug-a-lug-aluggin'
Cornbine
