you can tell a lot of this online written content(including these celebrity "biographies") is by "non writers" because it sounds like its following guidelines set by an 9th grade english teacher. the guidelines are followed perfectly.. but it was started and completed the same morning it was due. I've worked as a fact checker for a travel blog about Italy (since I'm Italian) and writers were from all around the world and had to write articles in English. Most of them did just not speak English that well, let alone write it, so what they would do is that they would copy an article from another source, go on the synonym dictionary and change some of the words. Problem is, those words didn't make any sense decontestualized and it was just a lazy way to make a dime, like celebrate/praise. So yeah the moral of the story is that you can s***t on those people as much as you like, and I'm an endorser.
