WOWZA! Today, we take a look at the 22Convention, which is a self-help convention made specifically for women...put on by a bunch of dudes! The whole concept of this convention was just so insane to me, so I decided to talk about it and see if they really know what they're talking about (spoiler alert: they don't). Enjoy!

@Yass BA there are no laws oppressing men, especially not any that could kill them. men have made almost every single decision in history and to this day it’s a fight for women to get basic human rights. men have a privilege because they do not have to go through what women do in order to be considered people basically

They don't even (usually?) want their mom to fill that role. People like this usually want a hot girlfriend to want to do this for them, like a real life "romantic" anime protagonist or something. It feels unhealthy.

They always do this: we all know it takes a male and a female to get pregnant: yet men are still out of the equation when it comes to responsibilities and unwanted pregnancies. Men need to be accountable for their actions!
All we read about are 'keep your legs closed', but men won't ever beg for you to do that. Men ejaculates inside but then denies all participation to consequences.
      So ''logical''.

Tell me you didn't do your reasearch with out telling me you didn't do your research. Here I'll do it for you.
That classic 1950s house wife we all think of when we think of stay at home moms was probably a drug addict. Yep. In the 1950s to the 1970s, housewives did drugs to get more work done and keep up that *HAPPY CHEERY* mood you seem to love so much. Then people started to be like "hey government maybe be stricter with drugs, it don't seem to be so good" and the government did so. So, think about that....

    • Focused Fighter
Focused Fighter 4 dni temu +1

Anyone with a small ego will feel threatened. We see it so often, in video games to only name this, when females play online. The good men that don't need to put others down to feel good about themselves, aren't toxic. They just play and even compliment whenever you win. because they aren't AFRAID.
Anyone else are super massively toxic towards everyone, but especially towards female gamers: due to FEAR. fear of losing face to their male piers, fear for losing to a female because 'females arent worth **'': which is not true considering the amount of females that play like gods.
Skills isn't about gender, and yet......
Apply this to all jobs in the world, etc.
You'll never see a mature man act like this: healthy competition is fine, we can take it as much as you guys: but those toxic pieces of ** aren't healthy in any way.

And we wouldn't have chuds blaming the fault of their perceived inadequacies on other groups unjustly.

@Red Shaman sounds like you need to challenge HR with legal repercussions for allowing molestation to occur. That's inappropriate regardless of gender and any workplace that doesn't want a lawsuit needs to take that seriously. Doxx them call them out publicly if you have to. And no it's not because "woman have to be victim." It's because HR doesn't want to do their job. What you're going through it's literally what women go through constantly. They get physically accosted on the job, usually by a superior, and HR is like "eh... we'd have to rehire if we did something about it."

    Ronaldo Alberto Miesiąc temu +39

Declining birthrates is not even at the slightest the women's fault. It can be explained by simple human geography.
    1. Increased sexEd, which leads to less unwanted pregnancies
    2. Having children in a developed country is a financial burden, so families CHOOSE to not have that many in the first place
    3. Women are indeed becoming more independent, and it's a great thing. A lot of men who look down upon women for "being lazy just because she is pregnant" don't acknowledge the pain of pregnancy. Not just the process of giving birth, but the whole 9 months. Morning sickness (which may still persist through the whole day), constant pain, organs being physically crushed by the growing fetus, and much more. Yes it's a natural process, but it doesn't make it any more bearable.
I also know that a lot of workplaces discriminate against pregnant women (i.e. firing them) and the legal time for pregnancy leave is only 12 weeks. What do women do with the other 6 months? Suck it up and work.
As for divorce rates, I imagine it's because more women are able to recognize divorce as an option to escape abusive relationships. Divorce rates are not as high in parts of South Asia (I can't speak for other regions) is because divorce is looked down upon, even the the relationship is abusive (which, in many cases, it is). Doesn't matter if a partner is being beaten to a pulp, manipulated into cutting contact with friends and family, having unwanted sex, etc. families discourage the woman from divorcing because it will bring dishonor to their family.

Women have always been absolutely vital, they just weren't recognized for it. (I hate to nitpick because I know you're an awesome feminist, and I appreciate you. But women didnt just arrive in real life since suffrage. We've always been here, and we've always been awesome. So glad to be recognized for it now.)

THAT is the thing we always need to repeat! Men got so far and so knowledgeable (in a way.........because of course most of them won't ever learn), because women where in the background taking care of all the other crap for them, supporting them etc. That way they grew, they became famous, they earned lots of money etc: because of US.
Again nowadays a LOT of dirty money is made thanks to women, by men who uses women's bodies.
Now that we are getting rights and not making them so great anymore: they cry victim.
It makes no sense they can't see this! WHY are they SO damn blind?????

My dad wasn’t in my life for years. Then he comes back and he tells me “ oh yeah, my mom was the one who told me I should see you” i was surprised, but that was kinda what I was expecting from him. But then he goes on saying “ your family and mom brainwashed you into thinking I didn’t want to see you.” he went to jail 3 times while I was alive so that was one reason as to why he didn’t see me.( everything he went to jail for was his fault entirely ) and the second was because he was to focused on his current relationship that he forgot about the kid he left in the dust. My family also always said that he was welcomed to see me whenever. But he didn’t. Then a little less than 2 years later. He’s ignoring us again. Obviously there are other situations, but in my experience my mom took care of me while my dad was cheating on his new girlfriend or dating a psycho. My mom is everything to me so whenever I hear single moms having people get mad at them because the other parent left is really frustrating.

I always feel that part of the equality discussion, where the inequality actually emerge, is being ignored while many (a lot of men, sadly) focus on trivial comparisons and nitpicking. The message for women as they grow up have always been ''There is something wrong with you and we can tell you how to fix it, and you HAVE to fix it''. Reading any teen magazine from the 90's to early 00's is actually borderline psychotic with the ideals women were indoctrinated into believing to be the ''norm''.
Men, on the other hand, have not been the target of such a confusing and damaging set of teachings about betterment. I'm not saying there has been negative stereotypes or unattainable goals for us; being told get super buff and be an ''Alpha'', while simultaneously ignoring most emotions because they're ''bad'', has had an equally bad influence. The difference is that we're told that we can do it and to push through, while women have been told that they will never be able to reach the finish line.
Men needing to better themselves may therefore sound unfair, but men have constantly avoided taking the blame for so much shit we actively and passively contribute to. The very first step is for us to be able to look at ourselves and feel things again, something we've been told not to do for so fucking long. Fucking feel sad and talk about the sadness with someone (even better book an appointment for a therapy session and cry your eyes out without worry). Hug your best friend and tell him you fucking love him. Be happy and discuss why you're feeling happy with male friends/colleagues/family. Start to better yourself from the perspective of being a man, with all the privileges and traumas that come from being one.
It's okay to have fucked up in your life, it's okay to realize you hurt someone and it's okay that you might not be able to change that fact. But it's not okay to stay blissfully ignorant while avoiding accountability for the problems men have, do and will keep on causing if we don't better ourselves. Because if we keep translating sadness into weakness, and anger into domestic abuse, I really don't se us having true equality for some time.

So in a way it was because of women but not cause they can't bust ghosts but of the lazy writing with the sole purpose of a qwick money grab. With the prices of houses being nowhere near what they cost in the 50's, and that's with adjustments for inflation, I'd be really curious to see how much these guys continue promoting archaic gender roles when they realize, oh shit, they're single-handedly going to be expected to make enough to cover a mortgage AND make that level of income for around 30 years, and cover the costs of children, car maintance, house maintance, and day to day expenses. That shit is expensive and that's even if you don't live in an expensive city. It's a lot to put on one person's shoulders.
Also, saying that women are more stressed and unhappy seems to imply women never were stressed or unhappy when housework and raising children was mostly what was expected of them. Jobs can be stressful but that doesn't mean there isn't also fulfillment. Last I checked, I've heard plenty of men complain about their jobs as well. Does that mean they need to quit and become a house husband? Honestly, the idea of that doesn't bother me and guys who stay home and look after the kids and take care of the house is amazing. I'd personally prefer my partner working, though, just because I don't want children and if two people are using the resources of the house, two people should replenish them and pay bills. It also ensures that should something happen, say a vehicle needs expensive repairs, the two-person income can cover that easier without putting everything else needing to be paid on a back burner.
And lastly, and I know this was covered, but the whole thing is telling women how they should feel and act...based on this tiny group's perception of women, without the input from actual women. Flip the script and imagine me saying what men should feel about certain topics, how they should behave. How many guys are going to agree with me? Likely none, and rightly so (well, there are some exceptions. For example, I'd never tell a man to "man up" and would rather they express themselves genuinely. Repression is depression when you're trying to force a smile when that's not really how you feel. I would hope some guys would agree with me there).
