In my Game Design course we had a company send interns from our university to make some speeches. One of those was about a mobile dating game, where they meticulously analyzed the players choices and noticed the players would always go for the funny ones, naturally. Now their next decision was to market that and have you pay literal money to choose anything but the standard choice. They made a game so exploitative, that literally playing it cost you money and expected us to applaud them afterwards.

That tie joke was way funnier than it should’ve been
